Same-Day Delivery Service

Samantha Rose Designs arguably sells as many or more roses as does any flower shop operating in the metro Atlanta area. We not only have a local flower shop, our firm also works directly with national florists, such as; 1-800-Flowers. The design team at Samantha Rose Designs creates thousands of bouquets each month. Many of these include roses.

There are thousands of rose varieties, but we’ll give you the rundown on the most common types.

Hybrid teas are a popular choice because they’re fairly large and easy to grow. They bloom all summer long and come in a wide variety of colors. Hybrid teas can be found in colors like reds, pinks, whites, and purples. They don’t need much care—just keep them well-watered and pruned regularly.

Floribunda roses are another common type with big blooms that last for months at a time. They’re usually about 4-5 inches across and have lovely sweet fragrances. They’re also good for pollinating other varieties of roses in your garden—which is important if you want to ensure that your plants produce seeds (and more flowers!). Floribundas bloom on new growth rather than old growth like hybrid teas do—so they tend not to need as much pruning during the year as other varieties do.

LONG STEM ROSES

Long-stemmed rose varieties can be found in a variety of colors, from deep reds to pinks and whites. We purchase many of the long stem roses we sell direct from the flower farms. Our team busy from both domestic and international growers. Some of the most popular long stem roses we sell come from Ecuador and Columbia.

Long-stemmed roses are perennials, meaning that they will come back year after year with proper care. They grow best in full sun and well-drained soil that is kept consistently moist but not waterlogged. If you’re growing your own long-stemmed roses, it’s important to make sure they get plenty of sunlight—they need more than many other types of flowers because it’s their natural habitat!

Our design staff loves uses long-stemmed roses in floral arrangements. They have a nice vase life and tend to outlast many other floral varieties. The present really well in a vase, providing an elegant feel to the design. We create designs that feature only roses, but often find that mixing them with other blooms allows us to create stunning bouquets that take your breath away.

GARDEN ROSES

Garden roses are a type of shrub rose, which means they’re a kind of rose that is grown for its beautiful flowers rather than for its fruits. They’re also known as floribunda roses, and they have been cultivated for centuries to be beautiful and fragrant.

Unlike other varieties of rose, garden roses don’t produce hips or thorns. They are usually smaller than hybrid teas or floribundas, but larger than shrub or miniature roses. In addition to their smaller size, garden roses have thick stems and large blooms that make them easy to grow in your yard or garden. They also tend to bloom throughout the summer instead of just once per year like other varieties do—meaning you can enjoy their blooms all season long!

Garden roses come in all kinds of colors—you’ll find pink, red, white and yellow varieties among them—and they have many different scents as well! You may even be able to find a variety with an intoxicating smell that will make you feel like you’ve stepped into an enchanted forest when you step out onto your patio every morning with one of these beauties growing right there beside it!

SPRAY ROSES

Spray roses are a type of rose that has a large cluster of flowers on each stem, rather than individual flowers. They’re called “spray” roses because their flowers look like they have been sprayed on the plant.

While spray roses may look like carnations or other types of small flowers, they are actually part of the rose family. And although they are sometimes called “camelias,” they should not be confused with the flowering shrub that goes by that name.

There are two main types of spray roses: those with small flowers and those with larger ones. The smaller varieties tend to have more delicate petals and are often used as cut flower arrangements in bouquets. They also tend to be pricier than other kinds of cut flowers because they are more fragile and need special care during shipping and handling.
